How do I join ?

Step 1 - Register for a  free Sim Golf tour account at -  https://simulatorgolftour.com/register     (Can be done instore at HOSS also)

 

Step 2 - Come to HOSS and let us know the username you signed up with and start playing

 

FAQ's

When can I play my rounds ?     Season 1 starts on the 19th of June and tee times are available on a Tuesday and Wednesday from 11:30am- 8:30pm and runs for up to 12 weeks. Choose when and how often you play.

How many people can play at one?  The HOSS Golf simulator can have up to 8 players on a hole at once, Just remember to allow between 35-45 minutes per player to play 18 Holes

You can now compete on the HOSS Golf Tour and play many of the same courses the pros play each week

​

What is the price per round?

Rounds that are completed as part of the HOSS Golf Tour are $29 for members and $45 for non members. 

​

Simulator time for non HOSS Tour rounds is charged out at $45 per half hour or $84 per hour. Members receive the usual pricing of $63  for first hour and $42 for any additional hour

​

What is the points system? We use a Fed ex style points system for each round and all points, Leaderboards and player statistics are available online.

What is the Simulator Golf Tour ?
 

The SGT Simulator Golf Tour is an online golf tour that allows players, using supported Launch Monitors to play with real clubs, real balls, and compete with players from all over the world in weekly tournaments. Players will ultimately compete to become the SGT Tour Champion or HOSS Tour Champion.

A typical tour season will consist of upwards of 24 events, over a 6 month period. Currently the Simulator tour is scheduled to provide players the chance to play SGT versions of many of the real life Tour stops the top professionals in the world tackle week in week out.

The SGT Simulator Golf Tour features full automatic scoring direct from the simulation software, back to the SGT servers, giving real time leaderboards, as well as a full array of statistical reports and shot history data. This allows players to both see where they stack up against their opponents and also assess how they played by comparing stats such as FIR, GIR, Long Drive, Total Putts, Proximity, and much more.

HANDICAP CALCULATION

Each Tour will have it's own handicap system so handicaps will be tracked separately across tours. For the 3 Main Tours (HOSS/WEB/SGT/PRO), we have a single handicap called COMBO. That is a handicap built using all rounds played on any of those 3 Tours. Here are the steps to how we calculate your handicaps:

1. Your gross score for each hole is adjusted downward via Double Bogey ESC (equitable stroke control). That means a double bogey is the max score that will count towards your handicap for each hole.

2. Calculate handicap differential for each round using the formula Handicap Differential = (Round Adjusted Gross Score - Course Rating) X 120/Slope Rating. Course and Slope ratings for each round are determined by tee length and course difficulty setup.

3. We then select the lowest handicap differentials to use depending on how many rounds have been played.

   < 6 rounds: lowest score

   6-8 rounds: lowest 2 scores

   9-11 rounds: lowest 3 scores

   12-14 rounds: lowest 4 scores

   15-16 rounds: lowest 5 scores

   17-18 rounds: lowest 6 scores

   19 rounds: lowest 7 scores

   20+ rounds: lowest 8 scores

4. Finally, we take the average of the lowest handicap differentials, multiply it by 96%, then truncate off the decimals, and that becomes your current tour handicap.
